The Overtones singer Darren Everest and Coronation Street actress Rhea Bailey are expecting their first child together.
The couple, who got engaged in 2019, announced the news on social media on Wednesday (February 22).
Posting a picture of themselves holding a baby scan, Darren wrote: "We are so excited to announce that we are expecting our first child together. We can't wait to meet our little one and start this new chapter in our lives."
Rhea also shared the news on her Instagram page, writing: "We are so excited to announce that we are expecting our first child together. We can't wait to meet our little one and start this new chapter in our lives."
The couple have been together for four years and got engaged in 2019. They plan to have the baby at home after having been inspired by their doula Jenny.
Darren said: "We are so excited to be starting a family together. We have always wanted to be parents and we can't wait to meet our little one."
Rhea added: "We are so grateful for all the love and support we have received from our family and friends. We can't wait to share this special time with them."
